1926 Franklin Model 11-A Sedan1926 Franklin Model 11-A Sedan

This 1926 Franklin Model 11-A sedan was purchased by the previous owner’s family about 50 years ago. It has a green body with a black roof, fenders, and wheels. The car has an air-cooled 6-cylinder engine with a 3-speed manual transmission. Its additional features include rear drum brakes, rear-hinged doors, front and rear bench seats, and a rear footrest. Some repairs were done by its most recent owner within the family, like paintwork on the hood in 2015.

The HH Franklin Manufacturing Company built air-cooled cars in New York from 1902 to 1934. About 7,600 Model 11-As were made in 1926 in 8 different body styles. This 4-door sedan has chrome trim, running boards, and a vintage grille. The interior has both vinyl and cloth upholstery. The dashboard has a clock, ammeter, and speedometer.

The engine is a 199 cubic inch 6-cylinder hooked to a 3-speed manual transmission. The car has rear drum brakes, leaf springs, and wood-spoke wheels with vintage tires. The rear-hinged doors, four-spoked woodgrain steering wheel, and footrest are reminders of the 1920s-era design.

Although the odometer shows about 96,000 miles, the total mileage is unknown. This 1926 Franklin sold at auction for $9,000.

1960 MG MGA 1600 Roadster1960 MG MGA 1600 Roadster

About 10 years ago, this incredible 1960 MG MGA 1600 roadster was acquired by the owner’s late spouse, who brought it to auction. Under the attentive care of the previous owner, the car underwent a multi-year restoration that included body repairs, a gorgeous red paint job, and the retrimming of the black interior. The work was completed in November 2022.

The two-seat convertible has a removable black soft top and chrome bumpers. It sits on 15-inch steel wheels and Kumho 771 tires with silver hubcaps. It has front disc and rear drum brakes. The bucket seats and interior panels are trimmed in black with white piping that provides a great visual contrast. The car also has a 120-mph speedometer and a beautiful wood-rimmed steering wheel.

The roadster has a 1.6-liter inline-four engine that was rebuilt under previous ownership. It features dual SU carburetors and a 4-speed manual transmission.

This restored MGA shows just under 100,000 miles on the odometer. It has a reproduction chassis plate that matches the VIN on the replacement Ohio title. It is a nicely refurbished example of the classic British sports car, and it sold at auction for $39,000.

1957 Chevrolet Corvette1957 Chevrolet Corvette 283/283 Fuelie 4-Speed

This Corvette is a black convertible that was purchased by the previous owner in 2010 after a previous refurbishment, which included repainting the car black over a red interior refresh. The fuel-injected 283 V8 was also overhauled in that refurbishment.

It is a two-seater with silver side coves, split bumpers, and dual exhausts. It rides smoothly on 15-inch steel wheels with bright wheel covers. Additional features include an independent front suspension and leaf spring rear. The interior bucket seats and surfaces are red vinyl. It has a floor shifter, clock, and Wonder Bar radio.

Under the hood, you’ll find an overhauled 283 cubic-inch V8 engine with Rochester Ramjet mechanical fuel injection. In 2020, additional work included servicing the fuel injection system. This eye-catching Corvette has a 4-speed manual transmission as well as a PosiTraction limited-slip rear differential.

This ’57 Corvette shows just over 70,000 miles on the odometer. The EL engine stamping matches the 283/283 horsepower fuel-injected V8. Offered at no reserve, this refurbished black-on-red luxury sports car sold at auction for $87,500.

The Cabriolet has a black factory hardtop. It has 15” Rudge wheels, dual headrests, and front lap belts. The car comes with its Kardex, COA, and Porsche build records for authenticity.

The Cabriolet body was originally built by Reutter and was refinished in its original color in 2019. It has chrome bumper overriders, fog lights, and dual exhaust tips. The hardtop was refinished in black. The car rides on authentic 15” Rudge wheels with Vredestein tires from 2021. Braking uses 4-wheel drum brakes that were serviced in 2020.

This matching number 356A shows just over 37,000 miles. It has its radio and its luggage straps, along with factory options like dual turn signals. Offered on dealer consignment with its build records, this 1958 Cabriolet presents beautifully after it was recently serviced.
