Are You Looking For Mopar Muscle Car Insurance?

Mopar owners are drawn to their particular passion of muscle cars because they’re long-lasting, eclectic pieces of automotive history in the United States. Like NASA, baseball, hotdogs and apple pie – the Mopar muscle car is also an iconic piece of American pop-culture.

Mopar, Short for MOtor PARts

The Mopar muscle car is considered the father of the American muscle car. Like many elite and popular music genres such as jazz, opera and even punk – the definition of a Mopar is somewhat nebulous and often will spark heated debate among purists. With origins dating back to the 1920’s, Mopar -the contraction of the words “motor” and “parts”- becomes the trademarked name for a line of antifreeze products in 1937. The brand makes a real name of itself in the muscle-car-era 1960’s, first when the Chrysler Corporation builds race-ready Dodge and Plymouth “package cars” equipped with special high-performance parts and then as the branded name of the Chrysler auto parts division. The word is used colloquially to refer to any car produced by Chrysler and specifically to muscle cars produced by Dodge and Plymouth. Generally agreed upon Mopar muscle cars include two-door Dodge Chargers, Barracudas, Dodge Challengers, Darts and a few others.

An American Institution

Mopar fans know their vehicles are both tough and trendy thanks to a long, rich history and an extensive list of cars to choose from. In 1954, the Chrysler New Yorker sets a world record with its 235 horsepower 331 Hemi V8 engine when it averages 118.8 miles per hour over 24 hours of non-stop driving. Nineteen-sixty-eight’s Plymouth Roadrunner is the talk of the town after Plymouth drops a hefty $60,000 for rights to the name and design of the Looney Toons Roadrunner character. Initially ridiculed for this seemingly wacky business decision, the Roadrunner would pioneer the muscle-cars-with-graphics trend. Then, of course, there’s one of the most famous Mopar designs – the Dodge Challenger. Introduced in 1970 and powered by a 440 Hemi, it could go from 0 to 60 mph in just 5.7 seconds.

Flexible Plans and Rollover Miles

Choose from one of our three mileage plans -1,000, 3,000, or 6,000 miles- to tailor your Mopar insurance policy to your needs. For example, say you plan to take a tribute trip through Chicago with your Blues Brothers-inspired ’74 Doge Monaco, but the plans never come together. No problem – Classic Auto Insurance offers rollover miles from one year’s policy to the next. We understand plans change and we don’t feel you should lose miles just because you didn’t use them.

Customized Policies to Fit Your Needs

When you own a muscle car like a Mopar, you want to protect it. At Classic Auto Insurance, we get that and can help you find the perfect policy. We offer customizable policies that are not just one size fits all. Our customizable Mopar Insurance plans are tailored to each individual customer and vehicle to fit your needs.

Agreed Value Not Stated Value

At Classic Auto Insurance, we offer you Agreed Value coverage on your Mopar muscle car. Unlike other insurance companies who want to tell you what your car is worth, we will work with you to determine the real value of your car and write a policy based on that price. What does this mean, exactly? In the event your Mopar is totaled in a covered loss, you will receive the exact agreed-upon value on your policy minus your deductible.

Classic Auto Insurance – Affordable Rates for Your Peace of Mind

In addition to Agreed Value, our “Inflation Guard” provides an automatic increase in Vehicle Coverage every quarter, throughout the policy term, so you don’t have to worry your Mopar muscle car may be underinsured. This is just another way we offer peace of mind to Classic Auto customers.

Mopar Roadside Assistance – Call Anytime

A Mopar muscle car is one terrific ride – but that doesn’t mean you will never find yourself broken down on the side of the road. There’s no need to worry. Your Classic Auto Insurance policy includes nationwide Mopar roadside assistance with guaranteed flatbed towing. We are just a phone call away!
