If you care about classic cars, you’re going to want to see some of the latest auction results. Collecting classic cars is an incredible and rewarding pastime, as well as one that often proves to be an incredible investment. Bringatrailer.com’s recent auctions included these amazing four classic vehicles: The 1998 Chevrolet K3500 Silverado, the 4k-Mile 2000 BMW M Roadster, 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce, and the 1985 Ford F-150 XL 4×4 4-Speed.

1998 Chevrolet K35001998 Chevrolet K3500 Silverado 4×4 4-Speed

This impressive truck was sold at auction for $30,000. The 1998 Chevrolet K3500 Silverado 4×4 pickup has a 4-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a powerful 7.4 liter V8 Engine. It has 10,000 miles on the odometer and was acquired by an Ontario dealer after it resided for decades in Minnesota. 

The interior is red with black pinstripes and aluminum running boards. The Fleetside style bed has a drop-in Pendaliner bed liner for protection. The truck has front tow hooks, chrome bumpers, and black wheel arch flares.

The dashboard and door panels are outfitted in a matching red to the interior. Additional features include an AM/FM stereo and air conditioning, which has been converted to use an R134a refrigerant. The dash has an 85 mph speedometer as well as voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level gauges. A powerful 7.4L V8 engine has 230 HP and the great pulling power of 385 foot-pounds of torque.

The noted damage on the truck includes some rock chips on the hood, some scuffing on the top of the cargo box, and corrosion on the underside of the truck.

2000 bmw roadster4k-Mile 2000 BMW M Roadster

This slick 2000 BMW M Roadster is one of only 148 cars finished that model year in Estoril Blue Metallic. Its power-operated convertible soft top is the perfect touch to this sporty car.

This BMW’s interior is classic Black Nappa leather with heated sport seats. It has a Harmon Kardon sound system and an AM/FM cassette stereo. The dash has a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and a coolant temperature gauge. 

The Roadster has a 3.2-liter S52 inline-six with VANOS variable valve timing. Its factory rating was 240 hp and 236 foot-pounds of torque. The fuel pump was replaced in August of 2022. The car also includes a Dinan strut tower bar, which spans the engine bay, and a ZF 5-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential. The car makes a statement with Bridgestone Potenza S-03 Pole Position tires, the stockier size grounding the rear.

At the time of the auction, the car had 4,000 miles on the odometer and a clean Carfax report and sold for $30,000.

1986 alfa romeo spider1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce

Talk about a cool car. This 1986 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce just sold at auction for $6,700.

The ‘86 Spider has a 2.0-liter inline-four engine with Bosch L-Jetronic fuel injection with a factory rating of 115 hp. It has a rebuilt 5-speed manual gearbox. The Pininfarina body stuns in a classy red finish with a black soft top and front and rear spoilers.

The interior of the car has black leather upholstery, red bottom inserts, and Alfa Romeo embroidery on the backrests. There is also bright trim, power windows, aftermarket rear speakers, and a Daewoo CD stereo. The gauge cluster includes a 140-mph speedometer, a 6-digit mechanical odometer, a tachometer, fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage gauges, and a digital clock.

The seller of the car reported that recent repairs had included replacing the distributor cap, rotors, brake master cylinder, spark plugs, transmission fluid, and rear differential fluid. 

Its stopping power comes from power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. With 47,000 miles at the time of the auction, the Spider’s previous owner also installed black-finished 15” alloy wheels. 

Imperfections in the finish are the result of an apparent repainting, and there are visible cracks in the dashboard. Additionally, there is corrosion on the underside of the car.

1985 ford f1501985 Ford F-150 XL 4×4 4-Speed

A classic 1985 Ford F-150 XL pickup went for $14,250 at auction. It has a 4.9-liter inline-six, which has a factory rating of 122 hp and 255 foot-pounds of torque. The total mileage is unknown, as the odometer shows 16,000 miles, but a potential odometer rollover in 2008 was documented in the Carfax report. 

The Ford F-150 has a 4-speed manual transmission, an 85-mph speedometer, and two-spoke steering wheel frames. It has a beautiful Wimbledon White finish, a styleside bed, and a chrome front bumper. The cab is covered in blue cloth upholstery and has a rear sliding window as well as all-weather floormats to protect the floors. 

The truck offers the convenience of dual fuel tanks as well as 15” alloy wheels, manual locking front hubs for those 4×4 excursions, running boards, and power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes.

The previous owner reported that they had replaced the distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, and wires in June 2023 and that previous repairs included a new water pump, a new battery, and the replacement of various gaskets, hoses, and belts. The owner also replaced the windshield wipers and headlights. 

The only visible damage to the truck is a dent on the left front fender. Aside from the mileage adjustment in the Carfax report, the report shows no damage or accidents.
