For classic and collector car enthusiasts, Artomobilia Weekend is one of the most anticipated events of the summer. We’ve put together five fabulous ways this year’s Carmel Artomobilia will satisfy your passion for cars and automotive art, while supporting local artists and artisans, the car collector community and … a great cause.
Fuelicious & Automotive Eye Candy
The two-day celebration of automotive art and design kicks off Friday night with Fuelicious: A Celebration of Wheels + Wishes, an exclusive event on the grounds of the Lucas Estate featuring 50 distinct collector cars, all in support of the Indiana Children’s Wish Fund. Then on Saturday, over 400 enthusiast and collector cars take part in a Concours-style car show that fills a half mile stretch of the Arts & Design District of downtown Carmel, Indiana, with fun attractions for the whole family. Regional and local artists are documenting the event during the Plein-Air Paint Out. Renowned photographer Anthony Ross Tyler’s live photo shoot is capturing the beauty and innovative design of participating cars. Be one of the nearly 15,000 visitors who’ll enjoy great food, live music, art galleries, fabulous shopping and all those incredible cars (Your kids might even put down their cell phones!).
