The most heartwarming story of the year recently went viral on the internet, but we thought we’d spread the story a little further for those of you who may not have heard it yet.
British father, Scott, recently found out that his 11-year-old son, Connor, has inoperable brain tumors and only has a few short weeks left to live. After a lifelong struggle with cancer, Connor is still smiling and is still as enthusiastic about life as ever.
To enjoy part of their short time left together and to fulfill one of Connor’s dreams, Scott wanted to take Connor to a car show, but he couldn’t find one in a close enough area to their residence.
Instead of giving up on his son’s dream, Scott logged on to the ScoobyNet forum and asked a favor of other local car enthusiasts. Scott asked that they all bring their classic cars to a show he would host on Sept. 8th, in honor of his son.
Not only did the locals turn out in droves, but people came from all over the world to give this little boy the greatest present he’d ever gotten. Over 1000 car owners came to the show that day; their main purpose, to let Connor see their car and to honor him on his day (dubbed “Connor’s Day").
