As if enough excitement about Barrett-Jackson wasn’t buzzing around already, the legendary collector car auction just released the information about celebrity attendees for next week’s events. Among the A-list attendees will be several celebrities (as well as cars) affiliated with 2 Fast 2 Furious, which featured the late Paul Walker, a tribute to the late Michael Jackson and James Gandolfini, Kobe Bryant, Gene Simmons, Michael Schumacher, Chad Kroeger, Simon Cowell, and more!
During the opening gala, Billy Baldwin will auction off an ultimate 2015 Super Bowl Package. All proceeds from that auction will go to benefit the Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund. A 1987 Oldsmobile Firenza will also be auctioned off at the gala, alongside Warren Johnson’s NHRA Pro Stock Racecar; proceeds from those auctions will benefit the Darrell Gwynn Foundation.
Brett Michaels will perform a concert as a special kick-off to the auction, and Steven Tyler will auction off two motorcycles, as well as NASCAR driver Rusty Wallace’s car as part of the opening events.
