Broad Arrow Auctions made a major impression during Monterey Car Week 2026, hosting its first sale at The Quail Golf Club in Carmel, California, on August 13–14. After four years at the Monterey Jet Center, the auction house moved to its new venue as the official auction partner of The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. The transition delivered impressive results, with $97.4 million in total sales, an 85% sell-through rate, and 159 of 186 lots sold. More than 1,400 registered bidders participated in what became Broad Arrow’s highest-grossing Monterey Car Week auction to date.

Ferrari and Bugatti dominated the top of the Broad Arrow The Quail Auction 2026 results, securing four of the five highest-priced sales. A rare black 2003 Ferrari Enzo led the event at more than $10.6 million, followed by a 2025 Bugatti W16 Mistral that established a model-specific auction record. A beautifully restored 1968 Lamborghini Miura P400 S brought classic Italian supercar history into the rankings, while a Ferrari F12tdf and Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport completed a remarkable group of multimillion-dollar collector cars.

1. 2003 Ferrari Enzo – $10,675,000

The highest-selling car at Broad Arrow’s 2026 The Quail Auction was a 2003 Ferrari Enzo, which brought $10,675,000. Finished in Nero D.S. over Rosso leather, this example is one of just three Enzos built in that distinctive black-and-red combination. Chassis 132652 was also Ferrari Classiche certified and had covered approximately 13,268 miles. Powered by a naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V12 paired with a six-speed automated manual transmission, the car was offered without reserve and attracted competitive bidding before selling to musician Jesús Ortíz Paz of Fuerza Régida.

Named in honor of Ferrari founder Enzo Ferrari, the Enzo represents a defining moment in the manufacturer’s early-2000s supercar development. Its carbon-fiber construction, Formula 1-inspired technology, and V12 performance helped establish it as one of Ferrari’s most important modern flagship models. Approximately 400 examples were produced, making individual specifications particularly significant to collectors. This car’s unusual factory color combination, documented history, and Classiche certification distinguished it from more conventional red Enzos and helped make it the headline result at The Quail.

2. 2025 Bugatti W16 Mistral – $8,805,000

The second-highest sale was a 2025 Bugatti W16 Mistral, which achieved $8,805,000 and established a world auction record for the model. One of just 99 examples produced, the Mistral was finished in Matt Argent and Black Carbon over Beluga Black and Tangerine upholstery, with Bugatti Light Blue Sport accents. Its specification included nearly $650,000 in bespoke options, while the odometer showed only 652 miles when cataloged. Underneath its sculpted bodywork sits Bugatti’s quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine, producing approximately 1,578 horsepower.

The W16 Mistral is historically significant because it represents the final Bugatti production model built around the company’s celebrated W16 engine architecture. Developed as an open-top hypercar, it combines the mechanical legacy of the Veyron and Chiron generations with highly personalized luxury. Its extremely limited production and position at the end of Bugatti’s W16 era give it a distinct place in the manufacturer’s history. The record-setting result at The Quail demonstrated strong collector interest in the final chapter of this extraordinary engine family.

3. 1968 Lamborghini Miura P400 S – $4,075,000

A 1968 Lamborghini Miura P400 S brought $4,075,000, making it the third-most-expensive vehicle sold at Broad Arrow’s Monterey Car Week auction. Chassis 3832 is the 13th of just 338 Miura S examples produced and retains its matching-numbers engine and original Bertone body panels, according to its documentation. Finished in period-correct Azzurro Mexico Metallizzato with a Nero interior and blue fabric seat inserts, the car had undergone restoration by Lamborghini specialists Carrozzeria Cremonini and Top Motors. It showed only 7,838 kilometers, approximately 4,870 miles, at cataloging and was previously owned for nearly four decades by Giulio Vignale, nephew of coachbuilder Alfredo Vignale.

Introduced in the 1960s, the Lamborghini Miura helped establish the mid-engine layout as a defining characteristic of the modern supercar. Its transversely mounted V12, low-slung Bertone styling, and dramatic proportions represented a major departure from traditional front-engine grand touring cars. The P400 S refined the original Miura with additional performance and luxury features while retaining its recognizable early styling details. Unlike the predominantly modern hypercars near the top of Broad Arrow’s results, this example represented an earlier generation of Italian engineering and design, supported by documented provenance and a specialist restoration.

4. 2017 Ferrari F12tdf – $3,635,000

A 2017 Ferrari F12tdf secured fourth place with a final sale price of $3,635,000. This limited-production Ferrari was finished in Bianco Italia over white leather and Nero Alcantara upholstery, complemented by extensive carbon-fiber trim and factory options. The car had approximately 1,060 miles recorded when offered, with just two owners from new and a documented service history through Ferrari Dallas. Its naturally aspirated 6.3-liter V12 produces approximately 769 horsepower and drives the rear wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Named in tribute to the Tour de France automobile race, the F12tdf is a more extreme, performance-focused evolution of the Ferrari F12berlinetta. Limited to 799 examples, it combines traditional front-engine V12 character with advanced aerodynamics, rear-wheel steering, and lightweight construction. The model also marks an important period in Ferrari’s design history, representing one of the final front-engine Ferrari projects developed in collaboration with Pininfarina. With its low mileage, distinctive factory specification, and limited production, this example offered collectors a particularly well-preserved version of Ferrari’s modern V12 grand touring formula.

5. 2011 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport – $3,305,000

Rounding out the five highest sales was a 2011 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport, which achieved $3,305,000 and established another model-specific world auction record. One of only 150 Grand Sport examples produced, this car was finished in single-tone White over Saddle brown Nappa leather. It showed 8,595 miles at the time of cataloging. Its quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 engine delivers approximately 1,001 metric horsepower through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and an all-wheel-drive system. The Grand Sport’s removable roof allows it to deliver open-air driving without abandoning the remarkable performance capabilities of the original Veyron.

The Veyron remains one of the most influential hypercars of the modern era, having established new expectations for production-car speed, engineering complexity, and luxury. Introduced as the open-top evolution of the original Veyron, the Grand Sport required extensive structural engineering to retain rigidity and high-speed stability without a fixed roof. Its combination of extraordinary performance and limited production makes it an important part of Bugatti’s modern history. The result at The Quail was particularly notable because both Bugattis in the top five represented different stages of the company’s W16 development, from the groundbreaking Veyron to the final-generation Mistral.
